Face Your Dark Side!

"Facing your dark side allows you to live in the light."

We spend so long running from our pain and insecurities, running from love, the truths and help. We run from our pain by filling it with other people, drugs, alcohol, promiscuity, work, not fighting and healing eating disorders and addictions. It comes in many shapes and forms but why do we run? because it hurts to feel that pain to look it in the eyes and see it for what it is, what is has done and to heal it. Numbing it and self destruction there for becomes the easiest path but gets you no where except a big black hole. When you're in this state of running you feel unworthy and that you deserve to feel self inflicted pain. The more you run from the real pain the more in love you are with the pain of the dark because you feel that's what you are worth and deserve.

The only way out is facing your dark side. As painful as that place is it's also the rawest most honest place to build yourself back up stronger than ever and into the light. We all need to check ourselves at times in our lives and face our dark sides to live in that light.

P.S: Welcome to the world Caitlyn Jenner you beautiful gem are now in the light!

With love
Rainbow :) xoxo

  1. This is all so true!! I agree with you on so many levels. By running we are only letting these things happen because we think that some how they'll eventually go away. But we need to start facing these things and working towards reaching the light at the end of the tunnel.I'm so happy for Caitlyn Jenner <3 She is finally able to be who she is 100% and feel comfortable in her own skin.
