Wisdom Through Pain!

In life it can be easy to question why me? Why do I have to go through this? Why do I have to fight so hard?... It's a gift because it teaches you strength, compassion, empathy, courage, determination, kindness and bravery you can only gain these things by walking through the fire of life. They can't be learnt from a text book, they can't be studied and they can't be bought, it makes you rich about life and who you are which is a special and powerful gift from the universe.

The question of why me will eventually turn into thank you universe, thank you for your pain and tears, thank you for your struggles, thank you for your wisdom, thank you for your growth and thank you for making me strong!

With love
Rainbow :) xoxo

  3. Yes!! I strongly believe this as well. I think that we all have these obstacles that we are given to brave through and learn from in order grow. Like they always say you can't have the good without having the bad because the bad is what opens your eyes to notice what the good is (Okay so maybe it's not exactly like that but somewhere along the lines haha)

  5. Hi Rainbow! Thank you for visiting my blog. True, we wouldn't be where we are today without all of the experiences of our past, both positive and negative. Your blog is so inspiring! It's good to see you are doing so well:)

  7. You know how much I love you and your blog, but I have to highly disagree with this post and even have to say, that I find it quite offensive. Why do you deny someone the right to question their suffering? Going through that stage and being utterly sad and disappointed as to " Why me???" is very important for healing. I am done with that stage, yet I would never, ever say that I am grateful for what has happened to me. Yes, both good and negative influences made me into the person I am today - which generally is a loving and caring one - but I still hate what I have been through and I still think it was extremely unfair. Because it was.
I'm of course glad you found a positive way to deal with what may have happened to you, but I find your wording in this entry quite demanding, almost as if I was wrong, just because I don't think about it the way you do.
I really do not want to be offensive. Again, I love you and your blog, but I needed to get this off my chest.

    1. No offensive taken and I respect your opinion. This post isn't about denying ourselves of the why me but instead providing hope that there is a lot of beautiful and amazing things that come out of our hardships but often when we're going through them it's easy to only see that one side of why me?. Our hardships are unfair, brutal and often out of our control and I think when we can see those beautiful and amazing things that have come from that pain it can offer a sense of peace, understanding and strength. Again I totally respect your opinion and thank you for taking the time to read my blog.
      Hugs back! :)
