The Game Of Keeping Up...

https://nz.pinterest.com/pin/52776626864041367/

If you play the game of keeping up with the Joneses or should I dare say Kardashians...  aka trying to keep up with and live up to or out do others lives... it will never end well... you will live your life comparing, competing, living for others and their acceptance, unhappy and unfulfilled.

In a day in age where we can see what seems to be everyone's daily lives and their breakfasts, lunches and dinners... (anyone else find that crazy?) perhaps more so than ever we need to be reminded that trying to keep up with others and such a world is a pretty little fallacy wrapped up in a cute bow. I encourage you all to undo it and see it for what it's worth and all it is.

Not every moment, gift, adventure, achievement, appreciation or breakfast, lunch or dinner needs to be shared on a public platform or have a "like" attached to it... perhaps more so than ever we need to find our self love and also break the rules of this society.

With hope and love
Rainbow :) xoxo

  1. Isn't this all the truth? Trying to be present within the moment and not do things for validation is such a struggle sometimes, but it is better to live that way. Hope you're well, lady! XO

  2. This is sooo true!!! Every time I am with my younger friends/cousins/ family they are so attached to facebook/twitter/instagram and they publish every minute of their life. And I always repeat that we should simply appreciate our presence here and have fun and keep it just for us.
