Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you beautiful people! 💖

This year was well interesting... as I previously talked about on here I was really struggling earlier this year and had been for some time though I can say the last 4 months has been better than the last 2 1/2 years which I'm grateful for, it still is one day and step at a time though it is better. I can say after that and going back to study it has made me really really passionate about equality on all levels and learning more and more about the world and to continue to be a part of, fight and stand up for this. What I know to be true for me and what has continued to be true and strengthen through this time as I've been moving through the pain that, that storm brought is the importance of being ourselves, self expression, self love and acceptance for who people are.

If you're ever in environment, around people and/or put into a situation that doesn't align with your truth as painful, uncertain and impossible as it may seem... leave. In my case it took so many crappy situations and an absolutely last straw to do so, with so many dead end attempts of trying to move on along the way. It might not be easy and smooth sailing in the moment to pluck up the courage and leave and for sometime afterwards as you deal with the distress, uncertainty and fear though as Oprah and Ellen talk about "No matter the cost at the time as long as you stay true to exactly who you are you will be rewarded in ways you can't imagine". I found a great deal of comfort in this and I too in my heart believe good and fulfilling things will indeed eventually come out of being true and living out our authentic selves. It's ultimately essential to our happiness, our ability to express ourselves, to show up fully in life, to live out our purpose and to have meaning and connection. I deeply needed this message and many more of it's kind during my struggles and I hope it gives comfort, courage and hope to you all in some form.

I haven't been super active on here and the blogging world as a whole due to study and needing some time to myself and time to reflect and learn. Just popping in with blogging at random like this without a schedule will most likely continue as it's a great way to share, be creative and connect but takes the pressure to post and "keep up with content" away, I'm tossing that notion in the trash. The odd YouTube video may arise though for now I've retired that idea too.

Hope you all have safe and loving holidays! If you wish to share about your year down below I would love to read!

With hope and love
Rainbow :) xoxo

  1. Hi Rainbow! First of all, I'm glad that you decided to come back to blogosphere and to study, I've been missing you and your self-love posts. Sorry to hear about situation in your previous job - it's such a shame for that company, that they measure people mostly by appearance. Anyway, I'm really happy that you decided to leave and stay true to yourself, what's more, it's amazing that you decided to share with your opinions about this situation. Moreover, I wish you a merry Christmas, dear Rainbow, I hope that you're having terrific, festive time right now!
